Clearly in this context π is a variable.

1000 comics (1000):

Meaning of xkcdsw: A(g_64, g_64) ÷ 10

Scary (647):

I hope this isn't misinterpreted. I am very much NOT on the side of these fictional psychiatrists.

You're just looking for trouble, chridd. ;)

1. What is this 100? Your 100th xkcdsw? Nice set of characters you used.

2. Also good. So, you're, like, 13? (So, like, am I? Like, you know? :P )

3. Kudos using a trigger warning. I've been learning about those warnings (never really thought about it before). I don't agree with the curing but I agree with the "disorder". We all "suffer" from some kind of disorder.

4. Thanks for matching. Shouldn't it say "right", though???

5. I'm tempted to meta-meta-meta this.... too lazy. *phew*

No. The point is that it's relieving tension caused by a left parenthesis from before the comic started. Like, "I know your feeling tense from that left parenthesis from earlier, so here, have a right parenthesis to match it".

Edit to add: Yes, that is my 100th xkcdsw (if I counted right, and not counting the Geocities one, which is more a screenshot than a comic). And no, I'm not 13 (not chronologically, anyway), but 13 is the age requirement when you click "register". And someone who was born after September 11 recently posted in the intro thread.

292 - thought of this when reading instructions for an essay, where each section was broken down into suggested words for each suggestion. What is the worst that can happen if section one is five words over and section two is five words under?

This is a SW of that wired article.

See spot spoiler for joke ruining explanation:
Spoiler:
I'm sure there's no joke without the explanation, actually. :)

The deal here is that, while a 3d object is represented by a vanishing point drawing, where more than one side is shown, that same object is still in 3d even if only one side is shown (i.e. you're looking at a cube head on, it looks like a flat square (a 2d "object")).

So, I took this to the extreme and started with that 0d dot, and this dot is perfectly representable in all 5 dimension, including Time, as a dot. This dot doesn't move or blink. It's a simple dot with a simple life.

5d_dot.png
It's a dot. It's still a dot. It's never going to be a turtlemolp.

In light of the impermanence and absurdity of existence, I surmise that nothing is better for us than to rejoice and to do good in our lives, and that everyone should eat and drink and enjoy the good of his/her labor. Such enjoyment is a gift from God.

Close. I think you should have flipped the dinosaur. He's pointing to the right but then they're on the right looking left. I know that the dinosaur should probably never be flipped, so that's a problem too.
